Visiting Leiden

Today I visited Leiden my dear friend Deniz showed me around. First we visited the Starbucks at the train station. I don't have a Starbucks in my city so I was very excited. After showing me some nice places we had lunch at Annie’s a love little restaurant  on the water. I had a goat cheese sandwich with honey and pine nuts. We both had a delicious Ice tea She had a big Annie , it looked really delish .

After that we walked around some more. She showed me  around Leiden university. and we went into a shop which sells fair trade goods I couldn’t help myself and got a present for my brother and mother which i will probably give them on Christmas day. I want to start studying at Leiden university after I finish school so it was very excited to see the city.

There was a real turtle in the middle of the city, we had to wait for a bird to swim close to it to check if it was a real turtle and not a fake one. I just had to take a picture of it so my mother would believe me.
