today I went for lunch with 2 of my friends in delft. We had a lovely lunch and afterwards we decided to walk true the city. Suddenly one of my friends decided we would visit the 2 churches in delft.
First we went to the Nieuwe Kerk ( new church) in this church the whole royal family of the Netherlands is buried. Its a very big church they are renovating it at the moment so we couldn't see the whole thing.
Next we went to the Oude Kerk (old church) also a big church a bit smaller than the new church. A lot of famous people are buried here like Piet Hein and Johannes Vermeer.
I never really visited churches before but i find myself drawn to their beauty. I especially love the stained glass windows.
